OpenAI launched ChatGPT last week and within hours it was the point of discussion for everyone on twitter. For those who don’t know, ChatGPT is an artificial agent which interacts in a conversational way. The dialogue format makes it possible for ChatGPT to answer followup questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests. In simpler terms, it is your one stop solution to (almost) every answer that you are looking for. Try it once, you will feel the chillz, most importantly you will be astonished to see the results.

Today when I woke up, I realized that I did not write anything in the past week because of my exams and I am sure I won’t be able to find time today because of the very same reason. Hence, I thought why not ask ChatGPT to take over my blog today. Doing this would not delay the blog as ChatGPT would complete the entire blog - from idea generation to idea execution within 5 seconds and it would give me ample time to prepare for my exams. So I did what I thought. But…..

Fair enough. As my dear friend says - Expectations are the root cause of suffering. Maybe I overestimated ChatGPT’s capabilities but one thing was sure - No one else can replace me in writing this newsletter, YET.

By this time I was too much into ChatGPT and used the tool to prepare for my upcoming exam. One of the many prompts I used for my preparations -

Try chatting with an artificial agent and you will see yourself becoming more existential. You will question everything around you and there will come a point when you would think about the meaning of life. I did exactly the same, the only difference being I asked ChatGPT about it.
