#117 Ignorance can be a blessing in disguise

No. The newsletter is not dead yet. Ross says I was on a break but my mind thinks I was procrastinating. Anyways, let’s move on.
Last week, I went on the Mission Peak hike without doing much research beforehand. It turned out to be quite challenging—a climb of 2000ft in less than 3 miles. Honestly, if I had known how tough it would be, I might not have attempted it. Sometimes, not knowing the difficulty level of a goal can be beneficial. When all you're focused on is achieving something, the challenges along the way don't matter. The destination becomes your sole focus, much like how only Arjuna could see the fish's eye in the story. Sometimes, when we're unaware of the true difficulty of a task, we allow ourselves to dive into it headfirst, driven by our adventurous spirit and determination. Ignorance of the challenges can be a blessing in disguise, as it prevents self-doubt and fear from clouding our judgment. We become fearless in the pursuit of our goals, focusing solely on reaching the desired outcome. Sometimes not knowing how tough a journey can be liberates us from unnecessary mental barriers. It allows us to tap into our untapped potential and discover hidden strengths we didn't know we possessed. By embracing the unknown, we open ourselves up to new possibilities and push our limits beyond what we thought was possible.
And this is how I know my neighbors are from India. The beauty of culture is that it sees no borders and accompanies us wherever we go. This picture is a testament to how we carry our cultural heritage with us, no matter where we reside.You know how they say, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do"? Well, my neighbors took it quite literally, but with a floral twist! And I love it! It's like they have a secret code with these flowers. Each bloom is a message to the world, saying, "Hey, we may be far from our homeland, but our culture is always in full bloom, spreading its roots wherever we go!"
