#115 An Impromptu Trip to SF
Couldn’t write the blog yesterday because I went to San Francisco, all impromptu. To give a little background on how much of a detailed planner I am, I even go as far as checking the bus direction on Google Maps and strategically selecting which side to sit on for a better view of the journey. But yesterday it was all impromptu. Although the decision of this impromptu trip was not impromptu in itself, it was more of a deliberate one. I wanted to see how it feels to be on the other side of planning - the un-planning side. How did it go? Well, let’s just say that being organized is better and move on.
Apart from encountering homeless people, seeing the Twitter HQ, gushing over driverless taxis, traveling in CalTrain, My highlight of the day was the sight of The Golden Gate Bridge. It is truly an engineering feat.
This engineering marvel, standing majestically against the backdrop of the stunning bay, exceeded all my expectations. It is places like these when you realize how not everything can be captured using a camera. Surely moments can, but the grandeur, picturesque vibe of the bridge can only be felt with your naked eyes.
A few more pictures from the day.
Oh and a tiktok….
That’s it for today. See you next week with something informative :)
Cheers!
