#104 Happiest Country in The World
03/04/2023
There's a saying that being born in Finland is like winning a jackpot. Fins do know how to spend their time effectively. They know the importance of an attention diet. The harsh weather does not exacerbate their will to go out and exercise. Finland is ultra beautiful! With crystal clear lakes, less pollution, pristine forests, the wildlife they have, Finland is a delight to the eyes! Being surrounded by the beautiful nature makes the people feel happier and positive.
Finnish culture is more about cooperation and less about competition. Hence the people are more laid back and at peace with each other. With low crime rate, people feel more secure and hence a result happier than other western countries. Another significant reason is the education system and the universal healthcare system which is why people feel more content and happy. The school system is one of the fairest in Europe and produces some of the best results, leading to more opportunities for young people. One other factor which makes Finland different from most western countries is the equality, which translates into opportunities for everyone no matter what socio-economical background they are from. Even the poorest would get the best education, and no one needs to be homeless.
When all these factors are combined, it allows most Fins to have a high standard of living and to feel content in their daily lives. All these of course may not make people happy, but it sure makes them content and relaxed.
I think learning to conduct oneself based on where we are is an important skill that can help us navigate new environments and interact effectively with people from different cultures. Adapting to local customs and norms shows respect for the people and traditions of the place we are visiting or living in. Being mindful of our behavior and how it may be perceived in a new environment can help us avoid misunderstandings and build positive relationships with people around us. Whether you are traveling for leisure or moving to a new city for work or school, being aware of your surroundings and adapting your behavior accordingly can help you make the most of your experience and enjoy all that a new place has to offer.
Blessing you with a beautiful poem I read on BEAUTY -
Beauty is a thing of wonder, A spark of light in dark thunder, A glimmering jewel in the rough, A gentle breeze that soothes and lulls.
It comes in forms both large and small, In colors bright, and shades of pall, In moments fleeting, and lasting still, In sounds, in scents, in touch and feel.
It's in the sunrise, the sunset's hue, The petals of a flower fresh with dew, The glistening rain, the falling snow, In every moment, it finds a way to show.
It's in the twinkle of a child's eye, The laughter that rings out high, In the kindness of a helping hand, In the warmth of a friendship grand.
It's in the stories of those who strive, In the beauty of their dreams alive, In the way they make the world a better place, And bring a smile to every face.
Beauty is not just skin deep, But in the heart it lies to keep, A flame that burns both bright and true, A light that shines in all we do.
So let us cherish beauty's grace, And let it guide us to a better place, For in the end, it's all we'll have, A legacy of love and beauty, that will last.
See you next Saturday, until then have a great time :)
Cheers!
